MINT Fair, Grietje Schepers, Amsterdam, 2014
Together with Grietje Schepers, we created the lighting design for MINT; a fashion organisation that focuses on durable and environment-friendly fashion. MINT is part of the established fashion tradefair ‘De Modefabriek’ that takes place annually in Amsterdam. Organisator Marieke Eyskoot of MINT asked us to provide a durable lighting for their store space in one of the large market halls of the Modefabriek.
This Barn Owl was mounted to a socket made of Azobé wood. It demarcates the space perfectly on its white pedestal.
In our lightplan we decided to use bulky, outstanding fixtures, to really demarcate the store-space within the large hall. We used our fluorescent tube fixtures like the White Rhino, the River Lobster and the Red Deer.
This small desk lamp we had in our collection matched really well with the colour used in the MINT logo.
