These steel industrial power switches originate from the 1970s, and have manufactured by the East German company Elektroinstallation Oberweimar (EOW). This large round variant was especially designed to be used in buildings where high concentrations of inflammable gases, vapours, or dusts occurred. They were commonly used throughout the various industries in the DDR, and salvaged from various industrial premises in East Germany. These typically raw industrial switches are ideally combinable with many of our industrial lamps.
