Question

This slender fluorescent light fixtures been designed and produced by Paul Mrosek around the 1970s. It consists of a long horizontal rod with a typical green-colored cast aluminium housing on each side. The 36 watt fluorescent tube is held by its two bakelite ends at the bottom of the cast-aluminium housings. The lamps have been designed to be interconnected, creating one large line of lighting fixtures.

These fixtures originate from a former East German factory that was specialized in Christmas decorations. The factory was operational until the late 1980s, and produced all sort of glass Christmas tree baubles.

The Green Pecora comes with:
– a 36W fluorescent tube (2700K, 4000K, or 6500K)
– 1,5 meter of black textile cable (other lengths possible)
– suspension set (optional)
– DALI or 1-10V dimmable on request (optional)
– a passport or historical sign describing the history and origin of the lamp.

The fixture has been completely rewired to current standards, and is assembled and tested to EN 60598 directive of European Harmonized Legislation. US & Canada wiring available on request.
