This industrial spotlight originates from a deserted factory near Budapest, Hungary, where it used to illuminate the premises from great distances. The lamp consists of a enameled steel-plated housing holding a porcelain socket and its spherical glass window. The fixture has been featured with a special deco-bulb creating a beautiful light with the spherical glass.
We combined the lamp with a beautifully aged wooden tripod that can be adjusted in height. This tripod has some fine brass parts, that have been smoothed to give them back their natural shine.
The Blue Eyed Owl includes:
– a decorative incandescent bulb 60W
– 3 meter of black textile cable
– a passport or historical sign describing the history and origin of the lamp.
The fixture has been completely rewired to current standards, and is assembled and tested to EN 60598 directive of European Harmonized Legislation. US & Canada wiring available on request.
